Ever since the first promo of Bang Bang went on air, many people started saying it’s a copy of the Hollywood movie “Knight and Day”. Well, hello guyz, #FYI it’s an official remake. Even if it’s copied from any movie, you have to understand that not a lot of Indian’s watch Hollywood movies, and such remakes are made to cater to that kind of audience. The script has been modified a bit by the director Siddharth Anand with some desi tadka and of course, the addition of songs.

Story –
Well, it starts with Danny Denzongpa, who is the most wanted terrorist. He escapes from the jail and announces a big reward for the person who can steal the Kohinoor diamond from London. There enters Hrithik Roshan, the perfect thief. He meets Katrina, who is on her first blind date through an online portal. Bad guyz chase Hrithik and now also Katrina, knowing that she knows something about him, but she actually doesn’t.

(Confused huh?) Never mind, keep your brains aside and enjoy the next 2 hours 30 minutes of visual treat.

The Good –
Hrithik Roshan fits in the character pretty well. In fact, at times, it feels like a continuation of Dhoom 2. Beautiful locations, peppy songs and the action makes the whole experience a little exciting. Here, the Hrithik-Katrina chemistry is the catalyst.

The Bad –
The movie becomes a little slow, switches locations in a snap, especially the ending scene.

The Ugly –
Some stunts, such as jumping from the cliff and still being able to walk and run. The jet skiing sequence; where Katrina could use the Jet Ski flawlessly in the very first attempt, when the bad guys are chasing them. And oh yes, I didn’t understand what Hrithik was doing with the Dolphin moves.

Verdict –
Well, Bang Bang sure is a visual treat, but the “wow” factor seems to be missing. (I know this is because, most of the people have seen Knight and Day, and Bang Bang is a rip-off, scene to scene). But for die hard Hrithik-Katrina fans and for those who haven’t seen the Hollywood version, Bang Bang offers good entertainment.

Rating – 3/5 (1 for Hrithik-Katrina’s on-screen chemistry, 1 for the beautiful locations and the action, and 1 for the music, background and Hrithik’s dance moves)
